We are delighted to welcome our new Chairman and our new Treasurer.

Peter David has been elected Chairman to the Executive Committee. As a member of the Committee, Peter follows in his father’s footsteps and looks forward to re-establishing his roots in the Oswestry area after a career in banking over 27 years in the Middle and Far East.

Rachel Ralison has been elected to replace Peter as Treasurer on the Executive Committee.  Rachel is a Cambridge University graduate, former employee of MBNA and has worked in finance roles in India and Africa.

Peter has been a member of the Executive Committee for over three years; Peter has been Treasurer as well as serving to represent the voluntary sector on the Council of Governors for the hospital.

“I am honoured to be appointed Chairman of The League of Friends to RJAH,” says Peter.  Our work remains so important in complementing the outstanding facilities provided by this hospital during such financially challenging times for the NHS.”

Peter replaces Chairman Tricia Norris.  Alongside many projects for the whole hospital supported by regional branches and over 300 volunteers, the charity is working with Horatio’s Garden to provide exceptional facilities for spinal injury patients at The Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen.
